Welcome to Restaurant Book. These terms and conditions govern your use of our services and dining facilities. By making a reservation or visiting our restaurant, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Reservations can be made by telephone or email. We recommend booking in advance, particularly for weekend evenings and special occasions.
All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Restaurant Book. We will confirm your booking via email or telephone.
If you need to modify your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes subject to availability.
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. For private dining bookings and the Chef's Table, we require 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made within this timeframe may be subject to a charge.
We will hold your table for 15 minutes past your reservation time. If you're running late, please call to inform us. Tables may be released if we don't hear from you.
Private dining bookings and the Chef's Table require a deposit at the time of booking. The deposit amount will be confirmed when making your reservation.
Final guest numbers must be confirmed 7 days before your event. You will be charged for the confirmed number of guests or the actual number who attend, whichever is greater.
For private events, menu selections should be finalised at least 7 days in advance. We're happy to accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice.
We accept major credit and debit cards. Cash payments are also welcome.
A discretionary service charge of 12.5% is added to all bills. This goes directly to our team. If you would prefer to tip differently, please let us know and we'll adjust the bill accordingly.
All prices are shown in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices without notice.
We ask all guests to behave respectfully towards our team and other diners. Restaurant Book reserves the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate.
While we don't enforce a strict dress code, we encourage smart casual attire to maintain the ambience of the restaurant.
Please inform us of any dietary requirements, allergies, or food intolerances when making your reservation. While we make every effort to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Children are welcome at Restaurant Book. We ask that parents ensure children remain seated during the meal and don't disturb other diners.
We welcome well-behaved dogs in our restaurant. Please let us know when booking if you'll be bringing a dog.
While we take care to safeguard property left in the restaurant, we cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items.
Restaurant Book's liability for any loss or damage you suffer is limited to the amount you paid for your meal on the day in question. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
